Huether Lasallian Conference in San Francisco

Five members of the Ocean Tides family traveled to San Francisco in late November to attend the Huether Lasallian conference. Br. Brendan Gerrity, president, Jane Genereux, principal, Ken Andrew, director of special education , Br. John Mcgann, social service counselor, and AlAffonso, special ed teacher enjoyed the conference as well as some sightseeing. While there they managed to try a dim sum luncheon and a boat tour of the bay. Br. Dennis Lee hosted a dinner, on behalf of Br. Edmond Precourt for all line district attendees at Belden Taverna. A festive time was had by all.

Br. John Norton Honored by the Familiares.

Br. John Norton, Ocean Tides’ court liaison, was honored at the line district annual familiares-De la Salle Christian brothers Christmas party on Sunday, December 10 at the Cest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, New York. A tribute was paid to Br. John for his service to the boys and families of Ocean Tides and the family court of Rhode Island since 1977.
