Annual Ocean Tides Washington D.C. Trip

Ocean Tides School embarked on our annual trip to Washington D.C. on Monday,  May 14th. 

On Tuesday, May 15th United States Senator Jack Reed was kind enough to meet us between Senate votes for a picture. He posed with us on the Capitol Buildings steps. Some of the sights we toured were The Washington Monument, the Lincoln, Jefferson, FDR, Vietnam, World War Two, Korea, and Marine (Iwo Jima) Memorials.

We also visited the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History, the Naval Heritage Museum and the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum.  One of the Naval Museums offered us a tour of the USS Barry, a retired missile cruiser.
