After four or five months in our main facility in Narragansett, our residents usually move to one of our two community-based Extension Homes. Gallogly House in Providence and Pullman House in Cranston, provide an opportunity for youths to more intensively prepare to return to their home and community while remaining a part of the Ocean Tides Program.

The Extension Homes provide residents with greater community involvement, increased personal and household responsibilities as well as more personal freedoms and new opportunities for social, educational, and recreational activities. While in an Extension Home, youngsters attend the Ocean Tides School Providence Campus. Residents that have completed high school may attend a local college or university or pursue meaningful employment or internship experience.

Every effort is made to ensure the Extension Homes reflect a warm and family-like atmosphere and that meaningful community experiences are provided.
