Our Mission:
Ocean Tides is a Lasallian school and residential program that believes every person referred to us is a unique individual worthy of our respect, and needing our care and attention. We believe that we assume responsibility for the growth and welfare of a fellow human being. We believe that each individual who comes to us has the capacity to learn and to achieve success in his personal and behavioral development. We further believe that this accomplished through everyday experiences and interactions of the individual with us as concerned human beings and through the program designed for the individual youngster. Ocean Tides aims to help such a boy so that he can change directions, so that instead of going nowhere, he can be going somewhere.

Career Day activities were held at the Ocean Tides School at both campuses on March 5 and March 6. From all indications, the events were deemed successful. The feedback from the guest presenters, the staff and the students were overwhelming positive in nature. Student evaluations were submitted after the events and their comments were honest and revealing. For the vast majority of the students, these Career Days were considered worthwhile and instructional, and the boys generally agreed that they would appreciate more vocational and technical training at Ocean Tides, if given the opportunity. Click for more information and pictures.

Multicultural Day 2012

Multicultural Day was held on Friday January 13. As part of the day students from Mr. Bill Vaudrain and Bob Brennan’s English classes presented their PowerPoint about their family’s country of origin. Presentations about countries around the globe were presented.  Along with the presentations, Chef Andy Lussier’s culinary students prepared and served ethnic food for the students and staff to sample. A great learning experience was had by all. To view a sample of the presentations click on the links below.
