Brother James Martino, FSC

Brother James came to Ocean Tides in 2015 to become President after 17 years of child welfare experience at La Salle School in Albany.  He has a Master Degrees in Special Education and Human Services Administration.  He is a nationally certified health education specialist and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Profession in Rhode Island.

Mr. Ryan Carreau
Vice President, Director of Residential Services

Mr. Carreau has been at Ocean Tides for 18 years and has been a classroom teacher, residential counselor, and residential senior staff.  He is currently Vice President and Director of Residential Services, where he oversees the day-to-day care of young men in the residential program, and assists in managing intake and admission activities.

Mr.  Charles Couto
Director of Education, Principal-Providence Campus

Mr. Couto has been at Ocean Tides for 30 years. Charlie became the Director of Education in 2015 and has been the Principal of the Providence Campus since 1990. Charles has a Masters Degree in Educational Administration from Providence College.

Mrs.  Elizabeth Iovino
Director of Finance

Mrs. Iovino joined the Ocean Tides administrative team in 2016. She has a BA in accounting from Providence College, and had a career with local accounting firms prior to starting her own business.

Mr. Brian Sullivan
Director of Administration

A 21-year veteran of Ocean Tides, Brian has been a residential counselor, managed one of Ocean Tides group homes before becoming Director of Administration.  Brian also holds a Master’s Degree in Lasallian Leadership.

Mrs. Susan Vogl
Director of Social Services

Mrs. Vogel joined Ocean Tides in 2016 after working as a consultant to the school, offering substance abuse treatment services to Ocean Tides students through Phoenix House.  Susan is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, avid soccer player, and continues in her own social work private practice.
